Tropical Beet Smoothie Recipe

Whenever the colder weather has you feeling a little bit blue, we recommend busting out this tropical beet smoothie recipe for a dose of liquid sunshine! Pro tip: serve it in a fun cup with a fancy straw to add even brightness to your day.

Tropical Beet Smoothie Recipe

Makes: 1 serving

Total Time: 5 minutes


* 1 frozen banana

* 1 cup frozen mango or pineapple

* 1/3 cup beet juice

* 2/3 cup coconut or almond milk

* 1 cup kale, chopped and stems removed

* 1 tablespoon honey

* 1 tablespoon macadamia butter

* 2 teaspoons coconut oil

* Chia seeds for topping


Place all ingredients in a high powdered blender and blend until smooth. Top with chia seeds and extra fruit as desired. To thicken the smoothie to make a bowl, add another half frozen banana and slightly less liquid.
