Sweet potato casserole is one of my favorite holiday dishes. I love this Sweet Potato Butter & Bacon Dip Recipe that our own Karan Marsh created. It takes that flavor of sweet potato and now brings it from main course to appetizer.
1 8 oz block cream cheese
1 jar Lowcountry Produce sweet potato butter
1/2 lb bacon, crumbled
1 cup toasted and chopped pecans
2 green onions, chopped
In a medium dish, spread softened cream cheese.
Layer about 1/2 jar of the sweet potato butter (as Rachel Ray says, “eyeball it”), the crumbled bacon, pecans and green onions. That’s it! You won’t believe how delicious this is!
Serve with chips or crackers (our favorite is toasted pita chips).
