Oat milk is simply rolled oats and water blended together then strained to leave the pulp behind. Here are some handy instructions on how to make your own oat milk!
Oat Milk Recipe
Prep Time: 15 minutes
1/2 cup Oats
2 tablespoons Honey
3 cups Water
1 teaspoon Vanilla
- Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until the oats have begun to break down and the mixture looks creamy – 20 to 30 seconds.
- Pour mixture through a sieve or nut bag strainer into a bowl, being sure NOT to press the mixture down into the sides of the strainer as this can result in “slimier” oat milk. Use immediately or refrigerate for up to 4 days.
