Grilled Steak Taco Recipe

If we’re talking delicious tacos, we couldn’t miss this easy grilled steak taco recipe. Not only does grilling result in very minimal cleanup, it also produces some of the yummiest flavors! These steak tacos are paired down and super simple but are still full of flavor! Pair with your favorite toppings and maybe a side of chips and salsa or rice and beans.

Makes: 4 servings

Total Time: 50 minutes


· 1 1/2 lbs. Flank steak

· 2 large limes, 1 zested

· 3 teaspoons taco seasoning

· 2 teaspoon salt

· Spray olive oil for grill

for serving-

· Corn or flour tortillas

· Avocado, queso fresco, red onion, tomatoes, cilantro – as desired


Place the steak in a large pan and cover with the juice of two limes. Let marinate for 30 minutes on the counter.

In a small bowl, combine taco seasoning and salt. After 30 minutes, rub both sides of the steak with the mixture, pressing in with your fingers to adhere the seasoning to the meat.

Preheat your grill to high heat. Lightly spray olive oil on the grill to coat. Place the steak directly on the grill and cook for 5 minutes on each side. Remove from grill and let rest on a cutting board, covered with foil, for 10 minutes.

While the steak is resting, warm your tortillas and prepare any toppings you want to add.

Cut the steak into strips, against the grain. Place in tortilla and add your favorite toppings.
