Blueberry Muffins Recipe
Makes: 12 muffins

• 1 cup granulated sugar
• ½ cup butter, softened
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• ½ teaspoon salt
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 2 eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• ½ cup milk
• 1 ½ cups fresh blueberries
• 3 tablespoons turbinado sugar
Preheat oven to 375°F and grease 12 muffin cups or line with muffin liners.
In the bowl of an electric mixer, cream the butter and 1 cup sugar until light and fluffy. Add the
eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla and whisk to combine.
Sift together the flour, salt and baking powder. Gradually add to the butter mixture alternating
with the milk. Fold in the blueberries with a spatula until evenly distributed, making sure not to
