This baked brie recipe is seriously delicious and easy! It is also pretty and has a beautiful presentation on a cheese board, which is always a plus. There are countless options to what you can put on a brie wheel, but we found this apricot, pistachio and almond combo to be a home run. Put it in the oven and you’ll have an ooey-gooey appetizer that will keep your friends coming back for more.
BAKED BRIE RECIPE WITH PISTACHIOS, ALMONDS & APRICOT JAM
Prep Time: 15 Minutes
1 Brie Cheese Wheel
1/3 cup of Apricot Jam
3 tablespoons Slivered or Sliced Almonds
3 tablespoons Shelled Pistachios,chopped
Crackers or Bread
Apple or Pear Slices to Serve
Parsley for Garnish
Wax Leaves for Easy Cleanup
Preheat oven to 350F. Place brie on parchment lined baking sheet. Top with apricot jam, pistachios and almonds.
Bake 10-12 minutes until heated through.
Carefully move to serving tray or cheese board (will have an almost molten consistency held together by the exterior rind, be careful when moving as not to break the rind and spill the cheese).
Place crackers, apples slices, and whatever else you want out to snack on. Enjoy!
OPTIONAL: Baked Brie into Puff Pastry:
Cut the top of the rind off the brie cheese wheel.
Place a rolled out puff pasty on a flat sheet flat pan.
Place your cheese wheel on top of puff pastry sheet in the middle.
Add your toppings to the top of the cheese, and stretch the puff pastry to cover the brie and twist to secure the corners.
Use an egg wash and brush over the entire sealed puff pastry.
Bake for 30 minutes at 400 degrees. Enjoy!
